Antonio Abondio (1538-91) - Don Carlos, son of Philip ll of Spain, coloured wax on glass in gilded copper locket, Vienna, c1570-2
Admiral Sir John Hawkins: Three different portraits of the English Naval commander. Hawkins was the controller of the Royal Navy during the time of the Spanish Armada (1588.) He was also another fine fellow with a fondness for one style of hat.
